The injectable, resorbable hyaluronic acid treats the early signs of photodamage by rehydrating the skin, improving elasticity and firmness, and smoothing superficial fine lines by reducing skin roughness.
THE TECHNOLOGY THAT REVIVES SKIN
BELOTERO® Revive utilises BELOTERO®’s patented Cohesive Polydensified Matrix® technology, allowing for homogeneous dermal integration, and includes the addition of 17.5mg/ml of glycerol.
HYALURONIC ACID
Hydration is a key feature of a healthy skin and has been widely proven to rejuvenate the skin when injected. Hyaluronic acid, contributes to the filler‘s quality while giving the skin a more radiant, youthful appearance.2 Hyaluronic acid is important for cellular processes such as proliferation, differentiation and migration of fibroblasts and which causes an increased biosynthesis of collagen and other components of the extracellular matrix (ECM).3
GLYCEROL
Both found endogenously in the body, Hyaluronic acid in combination with Glycerol, one of the most hydrating substances in the polyalcohol family, it creates a lasting moisturising effect on the skin, as it promotes water absorption from the dermis to the stratum corneum – providing moisture from the inside out.4, 5 Studies have also shown glycerol to enhance the potency of hyaluronic acid by strengthening the hyaluronic acid matrix.6
Combining these two ingredients provides BELOTERO® Revive with 37.5mg/ml of hydrophilic molecules.
